Work From Home or Anywhere!
Hey Moms and Dads,
If you are looking for an opportunity to make some money on the Internet, don't wan to fall for a get rich quick scheme, however would like to invest for the future of your kids, then Squidoo may be right for you. Before I even begin to discuss what the income potential is with Squidoo is, I am first going to say this:
1. Squidoo isn't going to make you a millionaire overnight.
2. Squidoo isn't a place to spam people.
3. It will require actual work on your behalf.
Okay, no that you've got that in your head, let's proceed. Squidoo is a place to allow you to share with the world your expertise. Anybody can write about something. So, why not give it a try. Squidoo, will take a great deal of time to invest, and no money. The more lens you create, the more potential you have in creating an income stream.
So How Does Squidoo Help Me Earn Money At Home?
You will need to begin with a little motivation. I would have to think you are on this webpage because you are looking for a work from home job or opportunity that isn't a scam. Hopefully, I am right in assuming this. Assuming that you are a motivated person and understand that good things don't come easy most of the time, then you are ready to roll with Squidoo.
So What Do I Do?
Well, if you haven't signed up over at Squidoo, then you will need to do that first. It is free, there are no cost that will show up later, or lures after signing up. After this you will need to think about what topic you want to discuss. The more specialized the lens topic, the better. For example: writing about a lens that talks about cosmetics would be very broad, however talking about a particular brand and a particular product line would be ideal for creating a quality lens. The more valuable the content of the lens you have the more traffic you will get. Most of my lens (Lens Master Name: RyansCCS) are computer related in content, however most of them are particular and specific topic staying sharply in focus on the subject matter.
Checking out what others have already written about is a great way to get started. Leaving some feedback or comments on another person's lens is a great way to get started. You don't need to understand entirely how Squidoo works to get started. You will be updating your lens all the time, so there will always be room for improvement.
What Do I Write About?
The short answer is: Anything! Below is a list of some small topics that can be done.
• About yourself, yep if you want to write an autobiography, go for it!
• About others, companies, or product reviews.
• About your products, or website
• A support for Charity (Squidoo does allow to send all your profits to a charity, instead of receiving cash.)
• Any niche or subject you want. Just remember not all of Squidoo's readers are 18+ years old, so make sure you rate your lens appropriately.
What about the Money?
I suppose you thought I forgot to talk about the money? Well, I didn't, and the
reason for mentioning this last is because even though through a course of time you
may earn money on Squidoo, be it through affiliate advertising, Amazon modules, or
eBay modules, Squidoo isn't entirely about money. It is more of a perk. If you
are like me you will find Squidoo very addicting and a certain satisfaction when
somebody out-
• Google Adsense: Squidoo splits 50% of the profit of the adsense clicks they get with you (They keep 45% for themselves and give 5% to charity.)
• Modules: Amazon, eBay, and others are available to insert into your lens. Again they split the profit of any items sold.
• Your own Affiliate products can be inserted into text modules. You get all the profit this way.
• Squidoo can be used to drive traffic to a website or blog you already have. The income potential here is up to you and your content.
There are other ways I am sure that Squidoo can be utilized to earn a profit or maybe even a living, just be sure to do some research. Squidoo, if used appropriately will help you become a better person too! How? Well, you will be helping the world in some way or another with your content.
